Has Any One Had These Symptoms That Iv Got?
popping or bubbling sound on deep breathess and sharp pains in there lungs iv got this and went for an xray which was all clear so this worries me cos i have worked with asbestos for a couple of weeks wearing a mask though this was about a year and a half ago so im thinking these symptoms mite be from asbestos because if it was asbestos it woulndt show up on an xray untill the damage has already been done so im worried cos i though some thing else mite show up to explain my symptoms but it didnt so now im thinking its the asbestos ???
If you are genuinely concerned you should go to the doctors straight away. If you can’t get in to see your GP then go to a walk-in clinic or A&E centre as there should be someone who can or is willing to help you. It’s better to be safe than sorry!

February 1, 2010 3:40 am | #2For starters, asbestos related disease typically takes 15 to 20 years to occur following even heavy exposure. Also it sounds as though you wore a mask.
That does not mean that you’re not ill, so I would advise going to the doctor with an open mind. Explain what is happening and see what they say.
Do you understand the process that your body goes through when you take air into your lungs? Do you know what alveoli are? Well, asbestos does not affect your thinking. You can study about those alveoli and see how much damage you did. But what’s done is done. You sound like a construction engineer, so I would think that there are other chemicals that you may be breathing besides what you blame it on.
