I’m almost 14 and I have been having stomach attacks since I was 11 maybe.. I haven’t wanted to make a big deal about it, but it seems I want to at least find out why it happens and if I can prevent it. I’m really skinny, but it’s maybe a genetic thing. Whenever I have these attacks, they start our suttle.. about 5-10 minutes after the suttle pain first stage, it starts to really hurt. It’s like they have mini horrible attacks. It’s like I have a bad stomach ache through out the whole thing, but every few minutes, for maybe a minute long, the pain triples, then stops, and then comes again. Sometimes the pain gets so bad that I can’t move. I don’t know what to do. I usually feel better after I have a bowel movement. My father died of colon cancer.. if that means something. I usually have diarrhea after, but sometimes just a regular bowel movement?! Outside of these attacks, on regular bowel movements, I sometimes see a little blood in my stool. Does this mean anything? HELP PLEASE!
It’s not gas pain because I know the difference. These pains are different. I also saw Tyra say that she had something kind of like this.. (tyra banks)

I’ve had an endoscopy, upper GI, CT scans of stomach/pelvis, sonograms (to rule out ovarian cancer & pregnancy), MRI of brain, inner ear evaluation and my doctors don’t know what’s wrong w/me. I’m nauseous everyday & vomit almost daily. I get headaches & have dizziness ocassionally. I’m young & w/the exception of the last 6 months, have always been healthy. Can anyone help?
I’ve also had a small bowel series workup, bloodwork, and an EEG. Every test has been normal and they’ve ruled out IBS & several drs. have said they don’t think it’s psychological, but they just can’t get to the root of the problem. I’ve heard of the parasite thing as something to consider, but I haven’t been out of the country in over 3 years–should I be worried about that?

I am 13 years old. For the past few years I have had this condition, as said above. I hae had tiredness, moodiness, cramping, horrible stomach pain, and diarrhea after the stomach aches. I have always had a little constipation, growing up, and still do. My Dad died a few years ago of colon cancer. I really want to know what is wrong, and I don’t want to end up like him. Please help. I will add any other details that I may have missed or forgotten if I remember later. Thankyou so much. This means a lot to me, and it affects my life everday, and has a great impact on how I live. I think my grandma died from it. She did have pains in her stomach and she had diverticulitis. Even when they tried doing colonoscopy they couldn’t because she was in pain.

I look as if I am 7 months pregnant and that is not possible! My ribs
hurt like they are broken but they aren’t. I’ve had xrays taken a few
days ago and they have not shown anything to be wrong with my
ribs. I’ve had broken ribs and I know what it feels like and I really
thought that this was the problem. Now I can’t breathe unless I am
in a seated position. And I’m not doing very good at that either. I am
having more pain in the upper portion of my stomach than I am in
the lower and the pain feels like it is going through to my upper back. I’ve had some swelling in my hands, feet,and face but not to
the degree that is in my stomach. Could this have anything to do
with my having helicobacter pylori and ulcers? My mother died of
heart disease at 54 and my father of lung cancer at 49. Should I
worry about it having anything to do with either of those? Any md or
nurse on line that can help answer this? I am 46 years old and I haven’t a clue as to what is going on with me.

My mom has been drinking every night of past few years now. she smokes least 1 pack of cigarettes a day too. She complains of pain in her stomach and says must be some infection and all. I lost my dad last year to cancer and my moms sister has got cancer too few months back. I hope my mom wont get cancer from booze.
